The Mass: An Introduction | Pastoral Area Course

Why worship at all ? Why a meal ? Why does the Mass take the form that it does ? Why does the extraordinary come to us in ordinary ways?

Big questions which we will be discussing together in small groups. Our Pastoral Area has put together a 4 week course. The format includes a short video followed by engaging small group discussions lasting about one hour.

This Year was designated by our Bishop Philip as the Year of the Eucharist extending an open invitation to everyone in the Diocese to take part in a spiritual renewal. A unique opportunity for us to rekindle our love for Jesus Christ really and truly present and active in the Holy Eucharist.

So join us in this spiritual renewal and return of our Sunday Mass by going back to the basics and deepen our understanding of Holy Mass. Experiencing the fullness and depth of the Holy Mass begins with understanding not just the Mass, but of worship itself.
